The Argo Experience
The Argo Navis is locally built, locally owned, and locally operated! Our Key West-based crew and ownership has strong roots and love for this special little island at the tip of the Florida Keys. We aim to provide our guests with an experience which will deepen their appreciation for all that Key West has to offer– from the beauty of our tranquil waters and stunning sunsets to the mix of characters that call this place home and Argo Navis their “office”. We live by our motto – Sail As You Are – and encourage our guests to as well, so feel free to dress up or dress down, just kick those heels off at the gangplank!
All ticketed sails on Argo Navis are fully inclusive. We serve fine wines, craft beers & cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and food offerings. Our catamaran is very stable and comfortable, allowing you to walk around and enjoy all the views from inside and out throughout the cruise. Our crew sets the sails every evening and we are a music-free vessel (unless otherwise noted for certain special events), so our guests are able to experience all the sensations of sailing– from the movement across the water to the sounds of the wind and waves.
Our connection to the oceans and the islands has inspired us to do what we can to operate our business with the health of the planet in mind. We choose reusable materials whenever possible and when disposables are necessary, we opt for the most sustainable options from responsible companies. We ask that you only use reef safe sunscreen when going into the water and keep all non nature-made materials from going overboard when under sail. As many familiar with being at sea will know, living and working on boats will naturally teach you to be aware of available resources and how they are consumed. We are grateful for the experiences we’ve had which have helped teach us best practices for living with care for our environment.
What To Expect
All our sails are rain or shine unless the weather is unsafe. The Captain will make that call when appropriate and the crew will contact you at the number provided in your reservation to reschedule, at no additional charge, or offer a refund. Reservations must be canceled by phone call 48 hours prior to sailing to receive a refund. Guests who miss the boat will be rescheduled if possible, however, no refund will be given. Please note, no smoking is permitted onboard the vessel. The Argo Navis is docked at the end of Duval Street at Sunset Pier. Allow PLENTY of time to park. There are pay to park options located at Mallory Square and CVS; however, we suggest ride shares, taxi cabs, or shuttles for your convenience! Please give yourself plenty of time to get here. Please be at the docks about 15 minutes prior to the departure time so we can get you checked in. Guests who arrive after boarding time will miss the boat. Still have questions?
